Before the birth of my son I had zero knowledge about breast pumps. When people tell you about their experience of being a parent, most people focus on the birth part, but honestly I think breastfeeding is a lot of work and they should start mentioning more about this journey (at least to dudes like me with useless breasts). I also understand that every family is different and that not everyone is able to or chooses to breastfeed.
That said, my wife has been trying out different pumps, from the classic hospital grade Medela Symphony pump, to the Spectra S2 and S9, to now the Elvie pump. Let me tell you that the Elvie pump seems like the most techie pump of all. Firstly, it gives you the option to operate it with your phone (using bluetooth) , and secondly, it has a battery and a micro usb conector to charge it.
The problem is that they don’t ship a wall charger with it (very Apple like), and because each pump charges individually, you need two chargers. That’s what this post is about.
Looking around on Amazon for a good deal for a wall charger with two USB ports I found this one:
It’s a two pack for a really good price, so you can keep one at home and one at work, or one in the living room and the other one in your room.
Anker is a newish but reliable brand, Steve Yang (the founder) left his job at Google to start this company with a simple motto: “a line of reasonably priced accessories that would be better than the ones you could buy from Apple and other big-name brands.”
I hope this product makes your elvie pump charging experience a little easier, and please, leave a comment with your thoughts.
I think the anker brand it’s really good and I always get very good suggestions form you, so I think I will try that product and a need a replacement from my wall charger.
I hope this blog is the beginning of a wild success
