Sometimes I feel like I need more vegetables in my diet. Living here in the States it’s kind of hard to find vegetables when you are looking at fast food or even at local owned restaurants. And I think this is why people google things like: “is potato a vegetable?” (the answer is yes, I googled it myself).

After a few years living here I found that the solution to this problem is Asian restaurants, and more specifically, Chinese restaurants. You can find Chinese restaurants everywhere, even in the smallest towns/cities/villages.

Feng’s kitchen is the closest to my house, and I love it. As we say in Mexico, it hits the three “B”s. That roughly translates to Good (bueno), pretty (bonito) and inexpensive (barato).

Also, since I started this journey of being a parent, I love that they have a delivery option that is offered directly by the restaurant and not a third party service like grubhub or doordash.

My favorite dish there is the beef with Chinese vegetables combo that comes with pork fried rice. The brown sauce is super delicious, and the veggies are always fresh.

The only thing I don’t like that much, is that they sell Pepsi products, but that doesn’t really matter when you order for carry out.

Their website looks really old (like early 2000’s), but it’s functional.
